Specializing in Piano & Theory Lessons in the League City, Friendswood, and Pearland area
Few dispute the potential benefits of studying music. From academics to social and emotional well-being, there has been much research that demonstrates that music education can help to develop well-adjusted children. However, in this era of hectic schedules and demanding expectations for children from a very young age, it is tougher than ever for many families to find the time for everything. I try to offer practical solutions by working with families with the best interests of the students in mind.

I have the ability to customize my program to the unique needs and interests of each student. I get to work with my students and their parents to determine the appropriate goals and activities for them based on the student's interests, desires, and schedule. I am able to provide my students with choices, a rare commodity for many students today. I have had students participate in a range of activities and festivals, and my students often work on pieces from many eras and genres, including both Classical and Popular selections.

I aim to instill a love and appreciation for music and playing the piano in my students, so I strive to incorporate a range of interesting pieces and activities. I am constantly assessing and re-assessing the student's engagement level to determine any adjustments that need to be made in order to maintain a love of music. I also work to help students continue to discover new and exciting styles of music so that they will continue to want to learn more. I want my students to be life-long learners. After all, some of the most innovative figures of all time have also been the greatest learners.

I firmly believe that music lessons should be a safe place where students are built up, learn more about both music and themselves, and develop a greater appreciation for music. While so many other activities for children today force them to "keep up," or even compete, with others by adhering to a fixed set of standards, private piano lessons allow the student to be viewed as an individual and treated accordingly. This gives the piano instructor a unique opportunity to help to build self-esteem in each student, by focusing on the individuality of every child.
